Re: Site Ideas Thread

Of course, I still love you, Sherry!!

Sharon did a fantastic job with the current homepage, but it's not my personal cup of tea.

But I say vive la difference. Whatever works for the majority works for me!

Re: Site Ideas Thread

My two cents, so far? Sharon, my favorite is the first one in the series of 5. (I also liked that very much in b/w, but I am a fan of very sharp, clean contrasts)

Re: Site Ideas Thread

Thanks for the lovely compliments, guys! I'm working on more looks so we'll have different things to choose from. Oh, looking at all these pictures of TJ is just so tiresome... :) But Sharon is the genius -- and workhorse behind all of this!! She's doing an swesome job, don't you think? And coding i...

Re: Site Ideas Thread

Hey Sharon, As for light text on dark vs. dark text on light...predictably I swing both ways. (har har har). The current black on white works fine as far as readability goes, IMO. As long as the light background isn't stark white the reverse would work, too. Yes, why did I bother telling you that? :...

Between the lot of us he'll be jumping!

We should hook up over on FB -- I'm a stranger over there as I have no desire to hook up with my college buds from 19beforetheearthcooled. ;)

Well. Wow. Whoa. What? I just wanted to support you guys. I'd be happy to help if you need extra hands -- not sure what it entails, but I'm here and ready to take an any task I can. I am over on facebook if you need me to poke him. Sherry, do you want me to send a copy of the myspace message to TJ v...

Re: Bones 4.05 The Perfect Pieces In The Purple Pond

Ah, my reactions are really not enthusiastic for this one, I'm afraid. First, TJ was fabulous, as was Eric. No qualms about the acting in this epsiode, or the show, for that. Second, it was fun to see Ryan Alvarez without his demon make-up. He was in Angel, Season 5 as Sebassis' pet/boytoy, 'The Pee...

Re: Spoiler Talk

It'll make a change to see a supporting co-star's character turning gay after being with men for the previous 3 seasons. It's soooooooo original! I think it's called "the Willow effect". Actually, Angela is bisexual . She doesn't 'turn' any way. :) And while I wish the writers had been less typical...

Re: Spoiler Talk

Why not bring in an ex-boyfriend of Booth's? (yeah, I know it would be out of character, but why is it always the girls and never the guys?) I agree so completely, Rebecca. The writers get kudos for having a bisexual character on the show, but why did it have to be Angela? It irritates me both from...

That wasn't just a post, girlfriend, that was a manifesto! And I'm one of the lot who supports using that as the comm's position statement. You rock like a rocking thing. And the only reason anyone gets torqued up enough to write such an eloquent, spot-on critique is love -- you have to love it enou...

...aaaaand here's the part where I flop around like a giant flounder on the grassy banks of the River Waddafock. Let's get the obvious out of the way: TJ is simply delicious. And to be fair, so are Michaela and Tamara. JFD....well... he did make me laugh at the 'do they walk into a bar?' question. B...

It's been awhile since you suggested that we give TJ a prod via MySpace. And as you well know he's not exactly...responding. What do you think happened to that new person who was supposed to get involved? Lost ship in the night? And... is there anyone here who is a friend over on Facebook who might ...

late_heart sweetie, I can't think of a better person to be in charge. What I've read of you is amazingly subtle writing that just draws me in and makes me want more. Incoherent you aren't. Re: Bones 4.01 Yanks in the U.K.

Oh dear, I hope no one thinks I'm being disrespectful here on TJ's site. :? That's definitely not my intent with the post. I did try to list things that I thought were good as well as not so good. No! Of course not! I just was feeling so confused and irritated to the extreme over the episode -- and...

Re: Bones 4.01 Yanks in the U.K.

Glad you're feeling well enough to write, S. Great post, as always. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't a fan of TJ's, so it's a given that I love his work and I'm eager to watch him any chance I can. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about the show he's in. So for once, I'm going to act as m...

Re: Bones 3.12 The Wannabe in the Weeds

Oh, man, I wish I could find anything redeemable about those two episodes, but I can't. All I can do is second all of your great points -- and remember when the show was more consistent, and made more sense. I confess to being a big 'chick flick' fan, but I'm such a stickler for characterization tha...

Happiest of days to our marvelous Sherry! Much love to you today, dear friend, and all good things for the year to come. And thank you, TJ, because if I hadn't come to these boards I never would have met such a wonderful person, and I'd never have gotten to know her and call her my friend -- in the...
