Re: Spoiler Talk

Michaela Conlin was interviewed by the Star-Telegram and had this to say about Angela and Hodgins: What are your thoughts about Angela and Hodgins? And what kind of feedback have you gotten from viewers about their breakup? “There’s been disappointment. I think even a bit of outrage. We’ve been play...

Re: Spoiler Talk

I'm actually really looking forward to the new Gravedigger episode in S4, because the first Gravedigger ep in S2 was such a huge turning point for Jack, and Jack and Angela. I was bummed they'd pushed it back to further in the run... But good to know TJ's as excited as we are!

Re: Spoiler Talk

I am not uspet, because for their relationship to move forward, Angela DOES need to address her relationship issues. She's going to have to stop dictating the terms, and start accepting equal share, or else she'll never move beyond where she is now. And I think that the Jack/Angela relationship will...

"The Human Contract" at Chicago Film Festival

I'll be in the UK, bur I figured other Windy City fangirls will want to know... Jada Pinkett Smith to be at festival 2008-10-22 The 44th Chicago International Film Festival has confirmed that actress Jada Pinkett Smith will present the world premiere of her directorial debut, The Human Contract, at ...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

WOW, HAMLET! Great! Tara, you've got to tell us how it was (how David was! ). It's the RSC, so I'm sure it will be fantastic. "Hamlet" is one of the tragedies I've never seen onstage, and the cast looks amazing. When my pal got tickets, I couldn't say no--to see a production of "Hamlet" in S...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

My best mates and I are going--we're going to spend the first few nights in London, staying with family, then go to Stratford, see "Hamlet", and then we haven't decided yet if you're going to go to Cardiff and be huge dorks and take photos of Mermaid Quay and Millenium Centre, or go to Oxford and wa...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Sorry I've been MIA--work has been a bit crazed, and I'm getting ready to leave for the UK in a fortnight. And still dealing with the condo association ridiculousness. But I am alive! And watching series 4 of "Bones". I'm not quite as, erm... enthused as I was, but still tuning in week after week (w...

Re: Bones 4.01 Yanks in the U.K.

Angela tripped him. It was stealthy. I approved.

I loved Sweets' Ninja Turtles story liek whoa. And the brain-touching. But I am still unclear on why he is at the Jeffersonian. I thought he was an FBI shrink? I'm having trouble udnerstanding how Earth-logic is applied to Sweets' presence.

Re: Bones 4.01 Yanks in the U.K.

I had similar whiplast in 4.02. But I did like that in the end, it isn't about Greyson. It's not about outside influences coming in to break them up. It's evolving trust issues. They're introducing conflict, because the story needs it. And it is good that it comes from within, rather than externally...

Re: Spoiler Talk

I actually am waiting to see the episodes. It sounds to me like a bump in the road, more than anything final and devastating. Angela seems angry at Sweets, which makes me think it may have been a blow-up over something that got blown out of proportion, based on his pushing her in a direction she mig...

Re: Series 4 Airdate

They finished the location filming in the UK for opener a few weeks back, I think. And they shot a bunch of eps before hiatus that got pushed back to autumn airdates as part of s4, and there are no new casting sides floating around this week or last week, so they may not be back in production on s4 ...

Re: Letters

I sent TJ a fan letter via Facebook, but didn't expect a response. I figure he gets totally swamped at Facebook. Back when "Jake 2.0" was on the air, I sent the cast and writers fan mail (regular snail mail). I never heard back, but then a year later, got an autographed photo from Chris Gorham, aski...

It's my fave version of "Cyrano" and Ben Chaplin makes an adorable Roxanne.

Re: Bones 1.03 A Boy in a Tree - Did I MISS something?!!!

I think it's just a line of dialogue where they admit to drugging Nestor and hanging him, very quick.

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

*lolz* In 1982, was 9, and probably still in my "Wonder Woman" and "Greatest American Hero" phases. I'll be 35, but alternate between feeling like I'm ancient, as I've surrounded by young people where I hang out online, and being the baby of the group as a lot of my friends are in their 40s and 50s....

Re: The Introduce Yourself Thread - Hello everyone!

Tell me - what on earth is FANFIC? It seems like a pretty big thing on here! Fan Fiction (shortened to "fanfic") is fiction written by fans, based on existing material. Modern fan fiction has its roots in Science Fiction media fndom of the 1970s (both in the US and the UK), but it's actually a very...
