Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Hi Everybody, sorry I've been an absent friend--I'm in the thick of trying to buy a house right now, and I just got a new dog a week ago! Steph mentioned that some of you were interested in going to the San Diego Comic Con next year. Yes, I went to Comic Con this year, but was unable to get into th...

Re: Shuffle

It does sound like a wonderful project! It may take time, but remember, we all were able to finally see Validation. Glad TJ has excellent projects to keep him busy and hopefully in the public eye!

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Thanks Sharon--I've made a lot of attempts in the past few months to get back on a regular schedule online and failed miserably. But as I said, I'm off work now, so that time at least is freed up for me. The job was extra stressful for me this year--lots of turmoil with the budget cuts and some ext...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Good to hear what everyone is doing these days. Sorry to be gone so long myself--lots of stuff going on in my life right now. At least the school term is over and I have time to catch up on all the things in my life I've been neglecting!

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

I saw the new Star Trek movie last weekend. It was a lot of fun! I was not a fan of the original, but was pretty well-versed because my best friends from high school were fans and made me watch. Later, I was a huge Next Gen fan, and Voyager, to a lesser extent (until Barbie of Borg took over the sh...

Re: Looks like Season 5 is happening

Finding it hard to believe that the show could get any worse, I will live in hope that it will get better, and with any luck return to its season one roots. I miss those characters!

Re: Bones 4.26 The End in the Beginning

Watched it yesterday, and I consider it an hour of my life I'll never get back (except for the few TJ scenes, with the emphasis on few ). What this had to do with "Bones," the Booth plot, or with anything else related, I have no idea. Since I'm not a B/B shipper, I found no redeeming value to this ...

Haven't seen it yet, but from Jude and Steph's comments, I'm not sure I want to! Mostly disappointed to her that TJ gets limited screen time...

Will check back in after viewing...

Re: TJ--Twitter?

Your friends have to go to your MySpace page to actually communicate with you and see what you are doing. On Facebook, everything you post pops up on your friends' pages so they can see what you're doing at all times. I think Twitter might be more like Facebook, only more posting and less other con...

A big belated welcome to Victor, Harry, Eli, Krissy, and Sarah! I am so impressed with our international credentials--thanks for sharing with us your love of Bones and TJ from your respective parts of the world. It is truly a credit to TJ's amazing talent and personality that he appeals to so many ...

Re: Bones 4.25 The Critic in the Cabernet

I was relieved when they gave a rational explanation why Booth was imagining cartoon babies (as opposed to it just being a plug for another FOX series). However, I did shake my head a bit in bewilderment at Brennan's sudden change of heart about motherhood and babies. I'm sure B/B shippers are goin...

Hi Giggles, I'm late to the name-game, but if you're interested in "C" names that are more unusual, I have a nephew named Cedar. Very earthy name! Steph, France sounds like it would be wonderful--minus the naughty boys! However, I'm glad to know that boys will be boys and full of mischief no matter...

Yes, I have to admit that Vincent Nigel-Murray is growing on me...

I actually enjoy his strange little factoids, although this used to be Hodgins' thing in the past.

Yaaay, Stephen Fry! And how funny was his back story? Lead singer in an 80's glam band? I will apologize now to all of the Sweets fans on this forum. Sadly, I'm still in the I-Hate-Sweets club. I resent the fact that we get to hear all about his tragic childhood, and still have no idea about ...

Re: Bones 4.20 The Cinderella In The Cardboard

This episode was definitely a turning point for Jack. He loves Angela, but refuses to settle for a relationship that is basically a booty call. He took back his power and pressed HATE. Not that he hates Angela, but he's again telling her that he wants a meaningful, committed relationship and won't ...

Re: Bones 4.19 The Science in the Physicist

Wonderful comments made by all! I think Vincent might be my favorite of the Zach-replacements, although Nigel is also in the running (which by no means suggests that I wouldn't rather have Zach back!). The scenes between Jack and Vincent did, as mentioned, remind me of the good old days of season o...

Lorenith, this is a great line:

When not having my face eaten by schoolwork

Although as a teacher I see school work from a different angle, I can certainly relate to the feeling you describe! LOL!
