Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Hello all, The last time I checked in I was a to the moon excited mother to be, but the last few days have probably been the definition of an emotional roller coaster ride from hell. I lost the baby. This time to an ectopic (tubular) pregnancy and emergency surgery. I guess it was a good thing that...

Re: The Random Thread

Although it is out of context because they are not high school photos, here are some of my squintiest photos. If I were to have a squinty high school photo it would be the one that was printed in my yearbook of me dissecting a fish... Alas that photo is not available. http://s990.photobucket.com/al...

Re: Bones 5.19 The Rocker In The Rinse Cycle

I really only have one comment to add. I like this episode but I was really surprised by how off key Bones was during the hot blooded part. I expected it from Booth but from Episode 3.12 "Wannabe in the Weeds", we already know that Bones can sing way better than that. It was just a bit strange. Jen...

Wow Simone, you are amazing!!! I don't think I could ever have the courage to do online dating. You go girl!!! Just remember as Sherry Says, Don't let anyone get you down. I met my husband when I was working at a local Big Rig truck wash. He was a regular customer and came in three or four times a ...

Re: Bones 5.17 The Death of the Queen Bee

I too loved this episode. I loved how awkward Booth and Brennan were undercover as a married couple and I liked Booth's line "I just don't want any misunderstanding. We opened up a door that neither of us wants to walk through". I liked the leaving space for the Holy Spirit and then the pulling her...

Re: Bones Vs. NCIS or other shows

Though I mentioned one correction in the other thread: The same actor plays Gibbs's father and Booth's grandfather , not his father. Not a big deal, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case it matters. And either way, it is pretty bizarre that they're using two of the same actors/actresses...

Bones Vs. NCIS or other shows

I noticed that in the Spoiler talk there is alot of comparison between Bones and NCIS going on so I though maybe it should have a topic. Steph, Please feel free to move this to wherever it may be more appropriate. While reading the comparisons, I was thinking that I totally agree. The resemblance b...

Re: Kathy Reichs and Mary Poppins

Just a quick Note. I have one of Kathy Riechs books, "The Devil Bones". I've had it for awhile but I just can't seem to get past the second chapter. I don't know what it is about it but I lost interest almost before I even got started reading it. So far the case sounds like it would be fascinating ...

Anyone notice anything about episodes that just bother them

Hi all! Last night "The Glowing bones in the Old Stone House" showed on Showcase. I had a problem with this episode. The acting was wonderful as usual and I didn't have a problem with the case... for the most part. The glowing bones bothered me. The explanation just didn't fit. They attributed it t...

Here are some of the wedding photos. I think most of them are shrunk for email formatting so I will put different ones up when I have my memory stick.

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Hello All!! Wow has it been a long time since I have posted anything on the sofa. I do check in to read what is going on and see who's new and all that, but I just haven't contributed much, so I figured I would give everyone on update. I'll apologize in advance for missing letters. I have a sticky ...

Re: The Random Thread

Congratulations Meg!!! Sorry I am so late, but I have not been on here for awhile. It is really sad about Patrick Swayze. "Dirty Dancing" was the first "Grown Up" movie I was ever allowed to watch. I also really liked his movie "Black Dog". It might have been the truck, but I liked the movie none t...

Re: Bones 5.2 The Bond in the Boot

Hi Guys!! I really enjoyed this episode. I felt that it was well done. The opening scene was "borrowed" from an episode of CSI, but for some reason it didn't really bother me. I liked the Wendell story and actually found that it fit right in. The Band B soap opera is killing me. I lost interest in ...

Re: All you wanted to know and haven't had a chance to ask

Alrighty here goes. This question was inspired by recent current events and your own thoughts about the slaughter of dolphins in Japan. Although it has nothing to do with the horrendous dolphin slaughter I believe that in a way it can be related. Here is the question: What is your view point on the...

Hello Everyone!!! Holy cow has it been awhile since I have even looked at the computer for more than two minutes. Well I just thought I would stop in and give a quick update on how things in the whirl wind life of Jenny have been. The wedding planning has all of a sudden gone crazy and exploded to a...

Re: no disrepect,

It's all good. I am over it and all is forgotten. I will say that in my opinion, no disrespect intended, in the case of the squinterns, HH has not combined humour and serious issues successfully. Everyone will see something different in every situation. This is where miscommunication comes in. I int...

Re: Bipolar Squintern?

Finally I would like the thank HH for addressing my concerns. He took the time to read my story and understand my fears. I believe that he is a great writer. I loved my Grandfather dearly and didn't understand why everyone thought him a monster. Here are the final two tweets from HH. With these twee...
