Re: TJTHYNE.COM presents APRIL 2011 chat with TJ

Hey, all. I posted earlier that I'd be here if I could, and that I'd have a question. It's now up in the air as to whether I will make it on time, so do not put me in the question queue. If I can pop in, I will.

If I can't, have a wonderful chat! :)

Re: TJTHYNE.COM presents APRIL 2011 chat with TJ

Woohoo! I will definitely be there, and I will have a question. I will probably not be available for the entire chat - in fact, I won't be home from work until 5:30pm eastern time, if I'm lucky, unless I manage to log on from work (unlikely). So if I don't get to ask, that's fine. We'll play it by e...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Hi Callie! What's a 19 credit quarter, forgive what I suspect is other-side-of-the-pond ignorance? Oh, no worries. :) I'm attending junior college (first two years, also called a community college), and instead of 2 semesters in the school year, there are 3 quarters (4 if you count summer quarter)....

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Hi, everyone! I've been off in the land of dead laptops, but it was repaired today, so I'm back! :) Hope everyone's been well. :) I'm full-swing into a 19 credit quarter, but I plan on continuing with the older episode recaps this weekend. Looking forward to it!

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Just dropping in briefly. I left a message in the chatbox, but in the event that it gets scrolled off, I wanted to say hi to you all before I head out on the road this week. I even have to take homework with me, UGGH. :) Can't wait to get back to reviewing. I haven't watched Bones in weeks! :( Hope ...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Everyone cheer, for I actually got out and made it to the gym this morning. 1st time this year. :D I have a wedding that I'm going to be in in October, so I'm trying to lose some inches and tone up a bit. :)

Woohoo for me!

Re: Bones 1.03 A Boy in a Tree - Did I MISS something?!!!

It's Saturday night, and time to review some Bones episodes! Tonight, I'm starting with 1.03 - A Boy In A Tree. This review is from the DVD version, not a rebroadcast. Victim: Nestor Olivos. Suspected suicide at an exclusive prep school, Hanover Prep Academy. We open up the episode with lots of inte...

Bones 1.02 - The Man in the SUV

Recap (briefly, mostly just a collection of thoughts) on the DVD version. Oh, I remember this one. This is where the man goes *splodey* right when the episode starts. Victim: Hamid Masruk . Suspected of being an Afghani terrorist. TJ opens up this episode in the lab, portraying the role of the resid...

Re: Pilot Episode

Season 1 arrived today from Amazon.com. Here we go! FYI: I don't write whole-story recaps; my thoughts are best expressed as if I were liveblogging a recap. Victim: Cleo Eller. This storyline reminded me a lot of the Chandra Levy case. Out in the field, Zack seems to have a lot more of a 'personable...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Today's thought:

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

A little sad tonight, inexplicably. So I'll get back to writing this paper. It's going to be an all-nighter, for sure.

Re: The Introduce Yourself Thread - Hello everyone!

Thanks for the tip, Angela. I have Netflix streaming available through the PS3 (and, well, online) so that works, too. :) I'm all about saving a few dollars - I mean, really, who doesn't need every extra penny right now? (Aside from, you know, Bill Gates and such). ;)

Re: The Introduce Yourself Thread - Hello everyone!

Hmm. I think that's a great idea, ThyneAlone. S1 was lent to me from a friend who insisted that I watch it (and I am so, so glad she did), so I think this is a perfect excuse to buy S1 from Amazon and start over. I'm not caught up with the current season yet, but that's okay. I don't mind. ;) I can ...

Random thought of the day:

There really needs to be more chocolate in my life today.

Just sayin'. ;)

Whoa, old thread. Not like he'll ever see this, though. ;) But I can answer them anyway, right? So! On to the questions! 1.) Greatest desire. This is a two part answer, I think. Like many, many people, I am a dual-brained person - heavily ruled by logic, but a passionate fire burning within, too. My...

I honestly didn't realize that he was in Erin Brockovich, and I had to hunt down a clip and re-watch! I don't watch CSI with any regularity, so I'll have to hunt that episode down, too.
