Re: Tj's Blog over at Myspace

I only joined Facebook a couple of months ago because MySpace went totally dead. On Facebook I found about 50% more people that I knew and could catch up with (people I haven't seen for ten years or even more) and its easier to send a message there instead of writing an email. I'm a friend of TJ by ...

Re: Spoiler Talk

What's My Line: Part 1 is the Buffy ep you're thinking off. A big bad comes after Buffy and she finishes him off with her skate. Nasty.

Re: Bones 4.07 The He In The She

I do mean accent. The things he said were fine. I'm a big fan of stats and titbits of trivia so the dialogue or scripting didn't bother me. Like I said I was pleased he went to Leeds Uni instead of the obvious two. I just get fed up with people thinking all English people sound "toffee" or cockney (...

Re: Bones 4.07 The He In The She

A pretty good episode. The intern got rather annoying (us English people do not speak like that, honest) but at least he went to Leeds University rather than the more obvious Cambridge or Oxford. I am getting rather tired of the different interns now. It's become gimmicky to see how many different c...

Re: What do you miss about season 1?

I miss Jack's conspiracy theories. We don't seem to get them anymore. Like Sweets said he has tranferred his anger to directing them at people blah blah blah. I also miss his beard.

Apart from aspects of TJ's character I also miss Goodman. I like Cam, but Goodman could have had a far bigger role.

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

New topic. Little Tempe. My little lady Temperance is now 13 weeks old. She is a bright little thing too. She's on schedule or ahead of schedule with everything she is supposed to be doing (although when she said mummy the day that freaked us out a little). She rolled over onto her tummy for the fir...

Re: Bones 4.06 The Crank In The Shaft

Hi, Al! Great to see you pop in to chat. After watching the episode, I too paused at the title, "The Crank in the Shaft," but then I realized. I believe they were referring to the informal use of the word. The victim was a crank, as in, a crabby cantankerous nosy person. By the way, I got curious s...

Re: Bones 4.06 The Crank In The Shaft

Was episode 6 supposed to be episode 3? That's my main question about this episode. The whole resolve thing felt old. Time has passed since they slit up and in previous episodes there had been no sense of tension between the two at all. Considering Zack appeared in the previous episode you would hav...

Re: Bones 4.05 The Perfect Pieces In The Purple Pond

caught up with ep 5 and 6 last night. I loved this episode actually. To see Zack again was great. No doubt Sweets will be seeing the powers that be about getting him released soon. I liked the intern and I hope he returns in the future. I've said that about so many though that the lab will be full o...

Re: Bones 4.04 The Finger in the Nest

There was so little of Angie in that episode that I almost forgot she was in Bones. I hope THAT isn't a sign of things to come. TJ was brilliant in the episode. He plays moody very well. Not sure about this "vibe" though. If I know scriptwriters we'll get the pair of them showing off a new 'partner'...

Re: Spoiler Talk

It'll make a change to see a supporting co-star's character turning gay after being with men for the previous 3 seasons. It's soooooooo original! I think it's called "the Willow effect".

Re: Bones 4.03 The Man in the Outhouse

Well you could cut the tension with...pretty much anything you wanted really. There was nothing between Jack and Angie at all. Not glances towards each other, no contact, no drama. If watched the show for the first time you wouldn't know they had even had a relationship (which I guess is a good thin...

Re: Bones 4.01 & 4.02 Yanks in the U.K.

I too have now seen the first 3 (or two if you like) episodes. I have to echo the disappointment. By the end of the first episode I was wondering whether I was actually watching an episode in England, or just an American idealisation of England. I know which it is. The storyline was very below par a...

David also sang in Angel. Oh Mandy...aaggghhh my ears

Anyone watching the first ep might notice that the first Vampire Angel dusts is Sawyer from LOST. I love that fact.

At least I came online roughly the same time Ellen. Although we seem to be chatting pretty well though PM's.

Maybe a scheduled live chat would work? The only problem is we're all in different time zones

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

My friend forced me to watch Buffy when I was at college and I got hooked on it because of Alyson Hannigan. Love her to bits and I'm incredibly jealous of Alexis Denisof. I still have a big poster of Alyson (but not up on a wall anywhere) and her FHM issue

Re: Zack's replacement?

I think the writers might also go down the route where the intern fails, unlike Zack, and makes several mistakes before finally leaving. I can see Jack getting very irate with them personally. They will probably hate doing "experiments" too, making Hodgy a grumpy bugger for most of the season. I cou...

Aparently he was voted #8 in the top #10 sexiest males from the Buffy/Angel universe. I'm guessing James Masters/Spike or David/Angel were top.
