Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Awww that's sweet! :D I read once that someone named their baby Temperance after Bones, obviously. Well it wasn't from me...yet  I thought it's 'Angela'. But 'Temperance' is very sweet, too. Very unusual! Well we wanted an unusual name so she'll be the only person in her class called it. We w...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Still no baby news. My wife will be induced on Friday if natural labour hasn't shown up by then. I'll be back with news as soon as there is any.

We'll have to wait and continue our Bones Marathon (passed ep 4 of series 2 and Jack and Ang are getting very close).

Bones 1.19 - The Man in the Morgue

Is it me or do we find out subliminally (is that a word?) that Jack fancies Angela? It's certainly more apparent in the next episode. This is yet another different episode to the others in the series. No pirates again though. It's full of fear for Tempe and it keeps in with Kathy Reichs' first book ...

Not personal at all. Our baby hasn't arrived yet. She is just over 40 weeks, the longest she has ever been pregrant (the first two came early). We've picked a good name if it is the predicted girl...but I'm sworn to keep it a secret. Let's just say it has something to do with Bones.

Re: Bones 1.17 The Skull In The Desert

It's a sad story for Angela. Just watched it tonight. Very little TJ, and he was rather cruel on poor old Zack (but for a reason). I'm surprised they didn't have a scene with Brennan and Booth red from the heat. Brennan I can maybe understand not getting burnt as she has worked on digs, but Booth sh...

Re: Bones 1.09 The Man In The Fallout Shelter

Errr. I really like this episode  Too early in the morning for using big words on the net. The old grey matter is still semi-unconscious. Watched this one last night. Nearly missed it because we skipped on and watched the following two eps. Saw the dialogue between Bones and Booth about Parker ...

Re: Season 2 DVD Set

Having won the first series for £11.50 I've just got Series 2 for roughly £13.00. It's better than £35 that's for sure.

At least I can continue the marathon until the next series starts.

Re: Bones 1.07 The Man On Death Row

It was a very different episode to the ones we had seen. It laid down some tracks future storylines, which I liked to see come back later. With Tempe becoming more famous it appears the crims are trying to pull on her heart strings. It doesn't really take but she does the job as it should be done. A...

Bones 1.05 A Boy in A Bush

A great episode despite the poor boy  A great episode for TJ and it brought the character of Jack to life. The scenes about the tux and finding out his wealth are great comedy. We even see Jack and Angie getting closer, slowly but surely. I find it hilarious that Zack lives above the garrage an...

Pilot Episode

Rewatched the Pilot ep yesterday. I didn't remember the first scene where Ang shows her boobs at the desk. That's very unlike me. Didn't really remember the episode until the stalker came into it.

There wasn't much about "the bug and slime guy" but his hair looked very short.

Re: Bones 1.03 A Boy in a Tree - Did I MISS something?!!!

I watched this last night having received my DVD's of the first series. This was the last one we (me and the missus) watched before falling asleep. I loved the scene at the start and thought "J&A are going to make a great couple" even though I know they end up together. I felt sorry for Zack in this...

Re: The Introduce Yourself Thread - Hello everyone!

I'm taking the course on the Open University, along with a Digital Photography course. I've always loved writing and wanted to be an author from about 9 years-old. I got sidestepped into Journalism to combine my passion of football (soccer) but I'm getting back into stories now. I'll give the abrige...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Poor TJ, he isn't getting a look in. Actually he'd make a good American Doctor Who. Sylvester McCoy was the Doctor I grew up with and his stories were brilliant compared to most of the Tom Baker ones. Davison is also a favourite of mine. I love the fact he came back for the Children in Need special ...

I got a bargain Bones DVD today

I've just picked up series one of Bones on DVD from eBay for £11.50 (including p&p). As soon as I get I'll be doing a marathon and posting on virtually every episode thread on here. Cant wait to see them again.

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

I'm going to but in and say I'm a big Doctor Who fan (classic and present). Patrick Troughton is my favourite Doctor (although I didn't start watching it until the mid-late 80's - I was only born in 82 lol). I tried to get into Primeval but didn't like it (or the CG) but my wife watched the first se...

Re: Hiya Folks

Thanks for the warm welcome Sherry. I've been watching Bones since series two ended in America, roughly at least. My wife and me are big CSI fans and we met through Buffy so thought we'd give Bones a chance and rented the DVD out from the Library. I think we watched the entire series in 3 days and q...

Re: Guest Appearances

I saw "Something's Gotta Give" in the cinema, but didn't know about TJ back then. I'll have to borrow my mum's DVD and watch it again just for him. Any excuse to watch a chickflick with the missus.
