Re: Tj's Blog over at Myspace

Well, that just figures! I only joined MySpace because T.J. was on MySpace. I read some of the comments posted on his last blog, and many people are saying that Facebook doesn't have as many features as MySpace. So, you Facebook people, what's the draw?

Very nice interview, thanks for finding and posting the link! It was interesting to hear T.J.'s take on the all the changes that have happened to his character.

Re: What do you miss about season 1?

Eileen! So good to see you on the forum! I don't blame you one bit for boycotting Bones--it's certainly not the show we fell in love with. And yes, where is the Angelator? I'd completely forgotten about it, but you're right, it hasn't been used in a loooong time. I miss so much about season one...

Re: Bones 4.06 The Crank In The Shaft

Really late to the party this time. I haven't been home much in the evenings, and I just watched the episode! However, as usual, Steph and Sherry, you give perfect, detailed critiques that I agree with. I do want to mention two things that bothered me about the episode. First, I'm afraid the whole ...

Re: Bones 4.05 The Perfect Pieces In The Purple Pond

I'm a little late to the party, I'm afraid (I have a niece visiting that I haven't seen in over 20 years!). However, I did see the episode the night it aired, and had much of the same reaction as the rest of you. T.J. was great, of course. I'm glad they've included him in so many scenes (guess Swee...

Re: Bones 4.04 The Finger in the Nest

Steph, I whole-heartedly agree with your comments. TJ's work made the episode worth watching, even if there was a tinge of bittersweetness to it. However, the big question on my mind is how they are going to resolve Jack and Angela. For whatever reason, last night's episode gave me hope that they w...

Thanks for the LJ link, Sherry. I added it and hopefully will join you there from time to time to rant! Glad to know that others are as disgusted as we are with the direction the show is taking. The only redeeming factor?--beautiful T.J.

Re: Bones 4.02 The Man in the Outhouse

It makes sense that this was aired out of order, otherwise as it ignores the breakup, it's truly a slap in the face to the Jack and Angela fans--but wait a minute, last week WAS a slap in the face to the Jack and Angela fans... What's with Brennan and her multiple boyfriends? Just so Booth can act ...

Re: Bones 4.01 Yanks in the U.K.

I finally watched this episode.

They've finally turned Booth into a complete caricature.

And after watching it from start to finish, all I have to say about the Jack and Angela storyline is... What the hell?

I'm so, so incredibly disappointed in the show...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Dad is recuperating nicely. He has a pretty good appetite, is walking around the block every day, but still has low energy. I told him to be patient as it has only been two weeks since he's been home from the hospital. He's got that touch Scotch-Irish blood in h...

Re: Bones 4.01 Yanks in the U.K.

Well, like many of you, I'll need to find one of those websites where I can upload the episode. Wednesday night I put my tape into the VCR, programmed it for FOX, and left for the evening. Went to watch it and... no Bones! In fact, the station icon in the bottom right of the screen said "CW" instea...

Re: Spoiler Talk

You're not telling me they are 'getting rid' of Birimbau in the same ep where he comes to say how much he still adores Ange? Puh-lease. Has there been a change in script? That's sure what it sounds like. And that little spoiler about what happens after the divorce... now that might be fun! (I imagi...

Re: Offtopic Sofa Time

Hello Everyone, Sorry about my extended absence! Steph, I relate very well to your tale of visiting the aging parents. Although my parents are very fit for folks in their 80's, Dad just had a quintuple bipass and heart valve repair two weeks ago. He came home a week ago Friday, and is now slowly on...

Re: season 4

And I really want to see how Jack deals with what happened with Zack in series 3... Not necessarily looking for soul- crushing guilt and angst (that would be a little too 15 year old girl fanfic-y for me), but just real exploration of how someone recovers from that kind of loss. The three of them--...

Guilty as charged (with being unusually absent the last few weeks--will explain on the other thread). Great comments from everyone. Didn't bother rewatching the season finale, as I thought it was dreadful.

Re: Just wanted to say.

I think it's pretty safe to say that everyone's favorite character on this website is Jack! You are so right about T.J.'s use of body language--it speaks volumes and adds so much to each scene. So glad that we'll soon get to see some more great T.J. acting as the new season starts.

Re: Tj's Blog over at Myspace

I think the most amazing thing about T.J.'s poem is that by posting it, he shows a willingness to share his most intimate feelings with his friends and fans. It's a reminder of why I find the man so endearing and why I want to cheer him on in all his endeavors, both personal and public.
