Yeah, I know - I guess I was a little preoccupied lately! Wasn't really a subject for me either. Today I had to decide if I fly again or not. The flight was a backup booking if he wouldn't be there on Jan. 5th and 6th. But today I thought, well - let's do it anyway. No other plans this weekend. Have to go back to work on Jan. 12th - so I am still on vacation. Tried to get a ticket for Hamlet on Jan. 10th but didn't get one (which didn't surprise me) so I try to get another autograph and do some pictures of him at the stage door. We'll see!

Had a great time today with my family. In the morning I had breakfast with my sister. It was a birthday surprise. Really great! And in the evening I invited my familiy for dinner in a restaurant near my place. Was fun, too. Got a Senseo coffee maker - which I really wanted to have :) -, the new Nickelback CD :music-rockon: (love their music!) and 2 shopping vouchers.

Thanks again! Will be back on sunday - very tired I guess, but will check in for a few minutes.

Simone. :happy-sunny:

I'd just like to say a quick

BEST WISHES ON THIS IMPORTANT DAY AND MAY YOUR FUTURE BE A HAPPY ONE, WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE.
That is for all our US friends. The main vibe I am getting from this side of the pond is optimism, so the best of luck to you all for this important change.

Thanks Steph,

Although today was a professional growth day at our site (no students, just teacher articulation), our administrator stopped the meeting for an hour to allow us to watch the inauguration. One can't help but be filled with hope for the future of our nation, and proud of the progress we've made in the last 50 years. We are a young country, and have had our share of growing pains, but today you felt a sense of accomplishment as a people. Here's hoping that Obama's vision for the future can become a reality. :flags-usa:

Haaaappy Biiiirthday toooo youuuuu,
Haaaappy Biiiiithday tooooo youuu,
Happy Biiiiiiirthdayyyy, dear Willowwood,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
:occasion-birthday:

I hope this upcoming year is stupendous for you, Will! Every day more wonderful than the next. :D

Enjoy your day.

P.S. Regarding that thing we discussed a couple weeks ago, that I might do for your birthday... I'm working on it!! I know that ruins the surprise a little bit, but I didn't want your day to go by and leave you feeling like I forgot. I definitely did not. In fact, with any luck, I should have it done by end of day today, which means (given our time difference) it's going to be a belated b-day gift. *hangs head in shame* What can I say? The muse was fighting with me.

What will it be about? I'm not telling! :shhh: You'll just have to wait and keep an eye out on LJ for my post, darling. heh heh hehhh. Hugs and kisses! Happy Birthday! :romance-smileyheart:

Steph, thank you for the good wishes. I hope your day with your husband and family is beautiful.

I myself have a rather unusual way of celebrating Valentine's Day. If I'm not dating anyone and know I'm going to be alone, I create a sort-of 'anti-Valentine's Day' celebration. I avoid anything romantic (especially so it won't remind me that I'm alone and bum me out) -- instead I usually go with what seems like the opposite of romance. I'll get take-out from a favorite local restaurant, usually something super-yummy to really treat myself, and I'll rent butt-kicking action films until I feel all macho. Heeee. It may seem sad, but actually, it's kind of fun. :D

However you celebrate it...

:romance-lovegoddess: HAPPY LOVE DAY to all of you out there! I appreciate you and think you're wonderful. I send buckets of love your way.

And to TJ:

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

We all send you love and admiration. I hope you spend the day doing something special with someone you adore. Have a magnificent day. :romance-smileyheart:

Nono, it's not sad, it's really positive. It's a celebration of love and you have to love, appreciate and feel comfortable with yourself in order even to form romantic relationships. What you're doing is a celebration of you. Go girl - plenty to celebrate there!! :)
