If you could give TJ a Christmas present...

..What would it be?

I would..get the writers' strike sorted out to the satisfaction of both sides (yeah right...but this is Fantasyland, you can wrap up and send whatever virtual gift appeals!) so that he can get back to routine on 'Bones'.
How about you?

...ME

Actually I'd try and find something unique so that I knew he didn't already own it.

Hi ladies! First I have to say that I LOVE this new layout for the message board! It's wonderful.

I think I would have to agree with Steph ... my first thought was to find a fair end to the writer's strike, so that he could go back to work on Bones. It would be a win-win gift for him and us!

Credit where credit is due, we made the requests, as you did; but it was our lovely admin Ben who got it downloaded and sorted for us. I too am pleased and of course we got our official responsibilities simultaneously, so it's a whole new exciting world to get used to!

Great job, Ben! Thank you for all the hard work you're putting in! I second Steph's declaration: it's unquestionably fun and exciting to watch the evolution of this site.

A present for TJ... hmm... that's a tough one. When I give gifts to my friends and/or family, I like to turn it into a fun theme if I can. For example, my sister wanted a DVD of the French film Amélie one year, so I turned it into a gift basket of goodies: the film (obviously), but also little joke gifts added to it, like candles, a CD of jazz music I knew she'd like (some of it sung in French), a bottle of French wine, and some French toast fixings like maple syrup and a baguette. :D

But I'm very sorry to say I don't know TJ personally, his likes and dislikes and favorite things, not enough to create that kind of fun gift for him. So, I'm greatly inclined to go with what you lovelies suggested -- a quick yet fair end to the writer's strike, so he can get back to something we know he clearly loves, acting. Here's hoping!

Let's not argue, now.
I will wrap you both up in a comfortable carpet and you can be delivered together to TJ like Cleopatra to Caesar.
Happy, both?

lol

Something that just occurred to me this morning that I would give (if I weren't bashful and afraid he'd think it sucked, LOL)...

I'd love to write something for him.

A short story, a poem (nah, I'm terrible at poetry), even a vignette or a quick 155-word piece. Something to cheer and inspire him, as he has inspired me. That is what I'd like to give. :D

Ah Ben, come on, you know we all love and appreciate you. I'm sure you are stunningly attractive and, if you come in just occasionally and say hi ,you will soon gather a fan club around you.

Stalkers, even, possibly!

Merry Christmas to you and hope you are having a wonderful time and deserved rest. xxx

Hey, I need a hug and kiss emoticon. Any chance of importing any different smilies?

*chuckling* Poor Ben.

Tell you what, amazing admin, I may have offered to write something for TJ, but for you... I'll sing a song! ;)

Hey, man, I don't do that for just anybody! Really and truly.

You're both lovely and talented people we all appreciate -- I hope the holidays brought you everything your hearts desired (within reason, LOL).

This is great. I can already see TJ's face next Christmas when a truck, loaded with huge boxes full of human bones (bones, dig it?), stops at his doorstep.
Sorry, I was too creepy - that's a Monty Python in me.

How about Christmas tree decorations? A little thingy from each one of us; funny, personal or typically local, which is used as a Christmas decoration. It would not be too much and TJ would have each Christmas a very friendly tree to remind him of his lovely supporters.
