Think this is the first time I've started one of these.. well everything that we do or have done are a first for all of us, at one point or another..

Finished watching this week epi and I was blown away with the intensity of it..
Still affected by it, so this will be really short.

When she saw the picture and later heard the doctor's voice, I gasped.. it was so unreal. Never expected this episode to get so "personal" to Brennan when I saw the promo. It was creepy how alike they were, how they focus on their work, outlook on life, distance themselves from others because of what they do, in order not to be affected by it.

At the end when she revealled to Booth that she regretted having pushed/declined his advances, I felt sorry for her.. Mostly because he's in another stage of his life, new girl who he loves and is not a consolation prize (as he puts it). If I was not mistaken, you could see the pain in his eyes/expression, knowing if he went there, it would break Hannah's heart.

To put it really short.. I loved this episode, it's in my top 3 now. Emily did an amazing job.. And TJ, he got a lot of screen time, which is great -looked good as always.

That's my thoughts for now.. might return after I seen the epi again later. I really hope they will continue like this for the rest of the season.

Love, Hanne

This was definitely a very intense episode. Very interesting & nicely creepy. First, when it seemed like the woman looked & sounded just like Bones, but only to Bones. Then, when she started talking to the dead woman, & the woman responded, that was just uber-creepy & I knew something had snapped in Bones.

I kinda feel bad for the fact that I did not tear up at all. I don't know if I've just lost all sympathy for the characters (or perhaps I'm just dead inside). :P Anyway, I felt a bit sorry for Brennan, but she had to realize Booth wasn't just going to forget about Hannah & jump into her arms, right? Anyway, I haven't felt any of that old B&B connection in a while, & I'd just as soon have them each move on with their separate love lives. I just want to see Brennan happy again. Whatever it takes to get her there.

I felt like the other characters had less time this episode, but it didn't bother me, because it was so obviously supposed to be Brennan-centric episode, focused on her emotional turmoil & mini-breakdown as those carefully-constructed walls of hers came crashing down around her. I just hope that it will enable us to see more of the woman she used to be. I'm hoping it was just those artificial barriers she erected to keep her feelings for Booth at bay that caused her to be such a moronic robot the last couple seasons. Now that they've fallen, perhaps she'll leave them down & be more open to intelligent human interaction again.

Anyway, I thought it was a very engrossing episode & I enjoyed it.

Totally agree Hanne. I loved this ep. and it was interesting when she came back to this reality and we saw what the lady looked and sounded like. My fave scene is when she breaks down. I had a few tears in my eyes, it was quite moving.
