You can always run, but never hide from us.. we'll find you where ever you may be..
*** I think you do owe me a recipe..
Btw, I've read Rictus.. loved it, a great suggestion on how Tony came to NCIS.. I'm thinking of reading the sequel she spoke of. Great writing, great plot.
I don't know, Sharon... Hanne was melting earlier (see chat box), and the other night Cor was in search of cold beverages and lots of ice to beat the summer heat... they might like it if you start shooting water at them!
:violence-guntoting: Okay, now you all are in trouble! I've switched from rolls to water!
*squirts and runs and hides.
Please do, the heat over here is killing me. Happy to be 'shot' with water. But i'm throwing some water balloons right back at you!

But I'¨m not cleaning up
Then you should come to Holland then. Really bad weather at the moment. But during the day it's like 35 degrees outside. It seems that is will be bad weather tomorrow evening, and im watching the World Cup final in the city center. I'd better bring my umbrella i guess.

Recipe coming up shortly! Keep an eye on the Random thread, Hanne!
P.S. You read Rictus? Awesome! It's so good, it could be a published novel, don't you think?
Unfortunately, she stopped working on the sequel -- I don't think she wrote past chapter two or three.
She's at work on her own original works now, I guess, hoping to become a published writer (which I can totally respect), so she decided not to continue with the sequel (which I find such a bummer). I once sent an email asking if she would at least post a message to everyone, talking about what she had planned to write for the sequel, so we'd know what happened (what would have happened), but I didn't get a reply. Not sure if she still checks on her fanfiction.net or livejournal sites anymore, so she might not have ever gotten my message. It's a shame. She's an amazing writer -- even if she doesn't continue with the NCIS sequel, I'd love to know how she's doing with the progress of her novel. I would happily cheer her on and buy a copy when it gets published!
Anyway, I'm very glad you liked it.
Now off I go to type up your recipe and post it to the Random Thread. Whee!
*enters, very pointedly, with mop*
I'll be around a bit tomorrow folks, only just stopped sleeping to be honest. Good to read you all. Now get down and scrub this floor!

"We make our lives out of chaos and hope. And love." - Angela Montenegro
Angela: Well, what about love? What do you have to say about love?
Hodgins: It´s overrated-most of the time Dexter: They make it look so easy-connecting with another human being. It's like no one told them it's the hardest thing in the world.

Wow, I disappear for a couple weeks & all kinds of craziness breaks out in here.

I visited some family for the 4th. Saw "Eclipse" while I was there. Forced everyone to wear vampire- or werewolf-themed t-shirts.
Currently my computer is nonfunctioning, but since I'll be at my father's each day to dog-sit, I should be able to use his computer to check in once in a while.
Nothing else new around here. Lots of luck to everyone regarding job-searching, classes, dates, etc. Hopefully, I can stay longer at some point.

Jade it is REALLY great to hear from you. Last night I asked about you because I was wondering where you had gone. Glad you are doing well, other than the bad computer!!

I see we have the same problem Oh at least I had the same problem (^_^) Now my computer is fine again and I can post here as often as I want!!!
Mmmm... Considering this, I could post very regularly... If I had something to say... Which I don't...
Mmmm... You may find some posts from me saying I have nothing to say. Not sure this would be interesting...
Oh ok, I'm off for my shower, I have to go to work in a short time.
The weather seems to be warm and wet, we may have some rain today (^_^) What to wear then? I'm never good at it, always wear too warm clothes when it's warm outside or don't have enough to warm me when it's cold... lol I should watch tv and weather outcast more often to stay informed...
I also have to check some sites to see job offers this morning, and send resumes as much as possible.
I'll keep this update I've sent 3 resumes last week in Rennes, one of my fave cities in Brittany. If I succeed, I'll have to sell the house and move there. That would be good, I love the place!
Ok, I'll let you know!
I'm late for my shower and I'm starving (I need a breakfast...)
Hugs to all (^_^)
Véro
a little sun is always shining in my mind to cheer me up!

I saw eclipse last week, AMAZING! Well, it started off a bit slower than I like, but Jacob definitely made it all worth while oooo, and Jasper was awesome! It's funny because my best friend/roommate went and saw him in his band 100 monkeys a couple months ago, they said he was completely different than his character in the first two movies, but that his personality came through a bit more in Eclipse :] ahh, vampires and werewolves, fantastic!

"Work hard, and love the work and the 'work' becomes nothing other than the love." - TJ Thyne
Ahhhhh, oh my goodness. I have another job interview tomorrow afternoon. Not looking forward to the time. 3:30 in the afternoon then I have to work at 10 at night. But I'd rather do it before I work than after. I can't make it till 8am when I work till 6am, let alone long enough to sound smart enough to get a job, lol. I think I'm excited. I've pretty much fallen into the role of whatever it takes to get a few more hours where I am and putting up with whatever they do. It's time for it to end.
OMG!!! It has been forever since I have been on here. I took a few minutes to scan through pages and pages of posts. Good luck on the job search for all of you looking and Congrats to you who have succeeded. Get well all of you who are under the weather and I'm glad you are feeling better to those who are recovering... I think that about cover's it.
I have been away due to a very busy life lately. I did not get the position that I had applied for but that is okay. It opens up every couple of years and I'll try again then... Turns out it was a good thing that I didn't get it... My husband and I just found out we are expecting our first child. I wouldn't have had the position for a full year when the baby is born, so they probably wouldn't have held it for me during maternity and parental leave.
My dog Tessa Marie had knee surgery so she needed some very time consuming physio. She is recovering very well and the vet says that she should not be physically able to do some of the things that she does even though we try so hard to prevent it.
Work is a little crazy. We are hiring right now which is good since I need to train someone to take over my duties, because I refuse to work with organic solvents... I lost one baby so I am definitely not going to put this one at risk.
This summer has been hot and dry. Today it is raining for only the fourth time since March. It is crazy. I will say that the temperature change is very nice though. Finally we can cook and eat again.
My Grandparents came to visit on the 3rd and 4th, but I was unaware that I was pregnant so they didn't get to be told while they were here. My little sister has been calling me non-stop since I found out... Sometimes even four- five times a day. Her youngest, her son, is about six months old so she is full of unsolicited advice...lol!! Family... You have to love them. Other than being tired everything is going well.
I hope this little update finds everyone well.
Jenny
PS. Welcome to any new people I may have missed during my hiatus...
Hi everyone. New to the site and loving The Sofa idea. I will try to stick to just the facts and not ramble on. I am, if I did the math right in my head, 27 days older than TJ. I thought that was really cool! I am a second-time college student who is striving for a Business Administration degree this time. My goal is to work in radio some day and my current internship will make that happen. My job title is Production/Programming Intern. I am behind on the show for two reasons: 1) Didn't get the channel 2) Had choir practice on Thursday nights during the time slot. I am currently watching Season 1 on Netflix and am noticing similaries in personalities between some of the characters and myself. For example, I identify with Zack concerning romance and Dr. Brennan with her social issues. When I'm not at the radio station, I am on Facebook, working on my plastic canvas craft, reading James Patterson books, or watching movies /Bones on Netflix. On the weekends, I do housework and spend time with my pet parakeet Sunny. Come fall semester, however, that all will change. I look forward to meeting all of you and building some healthy relationships.
& welcome to Kelly. This is a great site. I hope you have fun here.
