Wow, I hope your husband's going to be alright. :( I know what it's like. I lost my last job because of depression & haven't been able to get another one since then. Which doesn't really help with the depression. Anyway, I hope your husband gets the help he needs.

I hope everyone manages to get through their current troubles.

Simone - I'm glad your interview went well. I hope you get the job, I'll be thinking good thoughts for you. Though even if you don't get it, it was a good experience. Sometimes getting back out into the interview process can be good. :)

cutenebula - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your job. Then having to make a difficult decision. I think its good that your taking a step back and not rushing into a decision, this way you can make the right one for you. I hope it all works out. I'll be sending good thoughts your way as well.

Kayleigh_marie - I'm so sorry to hear about the health of your grandma, I can't imagine what you and your family must be going through. Just know that were all here for you anytime you need to talk or just connect with people. We're thinking of you (and that goes for the rest of you as well) and sending good thoughts your way.

Steph - I hope your scholl inspection goes okay.
I also hope that your husband is doing alright. I'm sorry to hear about all that is going on. Positive thoughts are coming your way! We're all hear for you.

Its nice to read this thread. I know sometimes the topics can be a bit heavy because that's the way life is sometimes. However, I always see the good in it, I always see a bunch of people brought together for a common interest but found friendship, love and support as well. Its truly amazing. Even with time zones and bodies of water that separate us you can feel the true kidness and concern from everyone.

Thinking of you all.
:)

Véro, Kayleigh, Steph, I am so sorry about all this. Don't know what to say. So much bad and sad news. I had a rough time during the past few months and this site, you all helped me a lot getting through it. Knowing that there are people who care and just listen is great. I hope things will get better for you, soon. And you know we're here if you need to talk!

Actually I came here to tell you that something great happend to me today! I got a call from the company I had the interview with. They invited me for a second interview. Of course it's still not a guarantee that I will get the job, but they seem to be interested and want to talk to me again. So, we'll see how it will turn out, but today I am just happy. Told my mum. She asked me what I will do if they really want to hire me. She said: `do you really want that?` I don't know if the other job will be better than my current one. You can't be 100% sure. If good or bad, I will deal with it when the time comes. At the moment I am just happy! Is it ok to tell you that? I'm so curious what else they want to know in the second interview. So it's still a good experience even if I won't get the job.

Thanks, Shannon, for the good thoughts. Gonna need them next week! :)
Will keep you all posted!

Oh, our new boss. He's nice. Think he hasn't got an easy job. In certain things we just cannot help him, and I guess that's a bit frustrating for him.

Bye now! Take care! :romance-smileyheart:

Congrats on the interview!

And good luck making the decision, you're right. You won't know which job is better. Just choose the one you'd be happiest with, would be my advice (:

Yes, absolutely, keep us up to date!

Good thing happened today.

Adorable 21-year-old son no.1 came home for a fortnight. Even hubby is quite charmed by that happening. And so is son no.2 (17), as he now has peer company for video games & watching DVDs & just plain teen conversation, especially about football. :D

PS Has anyone noticed I've now topped 1500 posts?? How much of my spare time do I spend here, for goodness' sake? :o

Hi everyone

I've really neglected the sofa lately so I thought I'd pop by and see how everyone is and I'm sad that some of you are having a bad time.

Steph I'm sorry to hear about your husband and shocked he seemed so good when we met up in December but I know that's how it goes with depression, lots of love to you both and the boys in getting through this.

Kayleigh_marie I'm really sorry to hear about your grandma's health problems its never good when you have to watch people you love going through such problems you feel so helpless.

Vero I'm really sorry about your job and I don't envy you having to make such a life changing decision but I do really feel that whatever you decide will turn out for the best at the end of the day.

Simone I'm glad things seem to be going a little better and my fingers are knotted I've got them crossed that much for you!

Its horrible when things don't go well in life but I think, borrowing from Bones, that if you don't believe in anything else you have to believe that tomorrow is a new day and that doesn't always mean a better day (god pretty much every day in 2004 was horrendous for me what with my mum being almost permenantly in hospital before she died and then my dad being in and out of hospital) but I always believed that life has to go on no matter what and now six years later I'm still here and life's not perfect but I value it immensely. This week my day's have been particularly good 'cos I filmed the quiz show which was amazing in itself and I won too which just put the icing on the cake.

So I'm sending my smile onto everyone else in the hope that it might at least make things a little better.

Lots of love to everyone.

Jude x

Hello, I'm still learning my way around here but I think this is the appropriate place to mention how interesting it is that so many of TJ's fans here are from the U.K. I guess it sounds silly  but I just didn't think an American actor on an American show would have made such a big impression on folks across the pond. But I'm glad he did. And I'm glad if I have to share him, :snooty: it's with you lot.

I also thought it was interesting that so many of the people here were from UK and Europe. There should be TJ fan convention over there and everyone could meet. I would love to get to England and Ireland one day, that would be my dream vacation!
