He was focused on him even before that!
Do you remember Pelant saying to Booth and Sweets "say hi to Dr. Hodgins for me" in the interrogation room, he didn't even had met him, yet.

Yeah, I remember that. Maybe some of Hodgins' past will come to light with the Pelant storyline. :icon-biggrin: :eusa-pray:

Exactly! It can't be a coincidence, isn't it?
We still didn't know why Pelant is targeting the Jeffesrsonian team + 1 ( oh, and the +1 would be Booth, by the record) :P

Interesting interview! I guess we'll have to wait and see how Hodgins losing his money will affect the story.

This time I checked better Sharon, the link wasn't there! LOL

http://blog.voiceoftv.com/2013/01/bones ... rt-hanson/

First to questions are Hodgins related
VoTV: Now that Hodgins (TJ Thyne) is broke, what does that mean for the Cantilever Group, and more specifically the Jeffersonian as the Cantilever Group is the museum’s largest benefactor?
HART
: The biggest adjustment is to Hodgins personally – we will see what happens when someone who has always been rich must suddenly live on his wages. 99% of people in the world will identify with that. It also means that the Jeffersonian must look for other revenue streams …

VoTV: It’s been mentioned before that we will meet a member of Hodgins’ family… does Pelant (Andrew Leeds) have anything to do with that? Is that why he seems to be targeting Hodgins and Angela (Michaela Conlin) now?
HART
: The “meet Hodgins’ family” story is still up on the board. We don’t know if we’ll do it yet. In our view, Pelant is targeting everyone … and by the season’s end we will know why – and WHO – he is most interested in. I think Hodgins and Angela bore the brunt in the last episode because Pelant was surprised when Hodgins actually choked him to unconsciousness… and Pelant does NOT like to be surprised.
And I guess this is a confirmation they are not to address the money issue toward the Jeffersonian or the Cantilever Group, but they'll show us how this is going to affect H&A personal life.
As I said, I understand this can be seen like a big hole in the storyline, but I also think they can't really write about everything, so I guess I'm OK with it. For now at least.

Teresa, I just gotta say, I love your optimism. :D

I know it seems like I pick at Bones a lot, but I do want it to do well, and I like how everything they do you just go along with it. Wish I could do that sometimes! :eusa-clap:

"Michael [Clarke Duncan] is unavailable" Weird. Of course he is unavailable and sadly will remain so...since he died in September. This statement makes me wonder when he answered that particular question..

I find Bones to be very boring and unimaginative these days apart from the Pelant storyline. I only watch it for TJ and the off chance that he and Tamara have multiple scenes together, which happened in the last episode.

Interesting, because I hate the Pelant storyline, I find it very contrived and unbelievable, because they haven't convinced me he is that smart and I think the way they have him do things is so beyond impossible that I don't believe it COULD happen-so it always just seems stupid to me. So I hate it when they show Pelant episodes. But for the most part, I liked season 7 and season 8 much better than seasons 3-6!

As for watching it for TJ, yes, that is why I kept watching it through seasons 3-6. And probably why I'm still watching and will always watch it as long as it exists. Extreme loyalty to TJ!

I was very disappointed to read Hart say he may not have time to get to a storyline for Hodgins about a brother. While I don't like the idea very much because I think it changes what they already established for him as the sole remaining member of his family (and geez, Hart, you can't think of doing anything about that??), I just want TJ to get some awesome storylines and screen time! Why don't they have time to give TJ a 'B' story?

*gets down off soapbox before my ranting really starts up*

And yes, Sharon, TJ loyalty above all other things. Because he is pretty darn awesome. :D

A light touch from him can lighten the most ponderously written, unbelievable and heavy script. That's why I watch it too. S2 was when I stopped watching it for the teamwork.

BonesInOz! Great to see you back! Please post some more...

Please tell me Hodgins gets his money back on Bones. He isn’t the same without the money. –Laura
“There’s a very, very surprising development with Hodgins and his money issues that involves Finn… and hot sauce. And a visit from someone who was competing to be one of the Top Chef Masters,” teases EP Stephen Nathan. “It’s a perfect storm of food and money.” Any GH fans getting a Pickle-Lila vibe from this?

(X)
I'm not convinced I like this spoiler, it sounds like he is not going to have his money back, but earn new money. It can't be the same, he owned a little "empire" before!
