Teach German and French to English boys 11-18. Love it that I can occasionally use that to make others feel at home (hope you don't mind me using 'du' btw, it feels natural when we all get on so well here, but I'm not sure of the Netiquette on that one). We have quite a few German members. I hope you make lots of fantastic friends here, as I have; one of the delights of being here, apart from being able to honour TJ and his talents, is learning from those friends and communicating with them!

Welcome Tara! Und herzlich willkommen stonie!
This is a great place to be! :)

stonie, aren´t you frustrated, too, that we still don´t have season 3 of Bones in Germany? :( :x

Take care!

I've started to watch american tv shows on the internet a few years ago.
So thuesday's are actually by bones days, because that's when the first streams are available

If you still haven't watched season 3, i can give you a few useful links.
As far as I know the sites are all legal, no downloads, just streams.

Ohne diese Seiten würde ich nicht überleben :P

Hey stonie,

yes, please. It would be great if you give me the links. Maybe you could send me a pm. Is it free to watch it?

I don´t know how I survived till now without watching S3 of Bones! :)

Thank you very much in advance!

Well done! Superfan is for 100+ posts!
One of the things I am going to request for the site, once the new management is up and running, aside from enablement of avatars and a more interesting profile design if possible, is a more inspiring ranking system, perhaps levels for 500+, 1000? If you have any ideas as to what the levels should be called and at what stage they should 'kick in' (the other site I moderate, you get a personalised soubriquet at 500), let me know!!

Interesting! How do they personalize it, Steph? Do they pick something specific based on knowing you as a poster? That could be scary. Heeee.

By the way, how's it going? Is Karen comfortably getting the lay of the land 'round here? :D

P.S. Tara, I'm glad you're feeling welcome, and I'm loving the wonderful comments you made over in the Bones threads. I'd respond to them, but I'm currently up to my eyeballs in boxes and lists, lists, lists. Things should settle down after this week is over. I hope. ;)

I know the feeling. I've been sneaking in bits of a "5 Things" Hodgins/Angela story at night after work, but I keep eyeing the state of my flat and feeling guilty... Okay, to eb truthful, I still have an SCC stry that's 4000 words in that I desperately need to finish, before I can give myself over to catching up on 3 year's worth of fandom in 2 months... But I'm a total sucker for "missing scene" stories, and couldn't help trying my hand at a few. So far, only have ones for "The Boy in the Bush' and "Aliens in a Spaceship" drafted, but I'm a long long way from finishing (I'm the world's slowest writer, due to my tendency to view the first completed draft as part 1 of potential 24 steps to a finished piece. Rememebr what i said about research? I'm worse at revision.).

Erm... being a total n00b, what's the board's official stance on linking to fan-written Bones stories about Hodgins and Angela? I don't write explicit, well, anything. But if it's verboten, then I will never speak of it again, I promise....

Hiya Tara!
Excellent question, don't think it has cropped up before. Hmm. I return to my Basic Tenet when investigating anything new - this board is about TJ, is it about TJ? And, no, it isn't; it's about Hodgins. That's why I would be dubious about a fanfic forum, which would be perfectly acceptable on a Bones board. And with the talent evident here, we could rapidly be choked up with fiction links! You might get round it, I suspect, by linking to the site where your work can be found (generally, rather than specific stories) on the Links thread (qv Media forum).

Thanks for asking! Your etiquette is superb. As I've said before: time, useful commodity, must construct a short, coherent rules list when I have any of it.

Noted. I've never really been a member of an actor forum before, so figured, I should learn the ropes first....

Believe me Tara, I'm inventing ropes as I go along..

I'm here to say a quick hi to our latest recruit Ellen, who's popped up in the Bones forum with a great thread about our favourite Hodgie moments; do go and visit it. Just to say it's great to see you here, thanks for taking part and we'd love to hear more about you. Keep exploring. Hopefully see you round lots more!
