Welcome to Samson! :greetings-wavegreen: A chemist -- that's fascinating. (And very fitting, given the show TJ is currently on. Heh.) If I may ask, what kinds of work do you do, as a chemist? Do you teach? Are you in a lab?

And a hearty welcome to BonesinOz, as well! :text-welcomewave: So pleased you found us!

Enjoy the site, both of you, and let us know if you have any questions or need anything.

ThyneAlone..

Sounds beyond great, and I look forward to reading the interest and views of many here. :)

Sinkwriter72,

Jenny here has already received a bit of my Chemistry background from the shoutbox...:) (Jenny, it was great chatting with you yesterday)...

As far as my Chemistry BG, I work for an independent company that receives contracts from different company's around the globe. 90% of what I do is in the Paper, Coatings, U.V. / E.B., Ammonia, & Titanium dioxide ranges.

My part is traveling back and forth between Latin America, North America and Asia to different clients who already have labs in place. This makes it a bit easier for any type of R&D I need to do to solve whatever issues that may occur within the company.

I am supposed to get a day at home to work per week...But that doesn't usually take place all the time (Especially when I am traveling..)

Other than that, I have a wife, 3 daughters and 1 son.. (Teenagers and younger)...My wife is a Pharmacist, so we get many jokes in terms of a Chemist and a Pharmacist living together, with a reply back of yes we are legit and legal .....lollolol

Again, good to be here and I look forward to hearing from everyone...:)

Just a big "group-welcome" from me to all the new members. My own fault that I have to welcome so many in one post - haven't been here a lot lately  It's great to see that the membership is growing.

I'm sure you all will have a wonderful time here. It's a great site with wonderful people. All are very nice and Sharon and Steph are doing a terrific job with the site and the forum. :D

I hope Jack gets back with Angela- but it takes a really long time- say through season 5.

Hey there to everyone! My name's Cally, and I've only been watching Bones and TJ for a year but within hours of seeing Bones I was hooked! By far, TJ is the most remarkable actor I've seen, particularly in Aliens in a Spaceship. So I've decided to come out of lurkerdom on Twitter and join this wonderful place... I don't know if anyone else on Twitter saw my sketch of TJ but http://s119.photobucket.com/albums/o127 ... o-0047.jpg have a look? I can tell you I don't think it's quite right but I still love it. :) enough introduction, I want to know all of you wonderful people.

Welcome Cally! It's excellent to have you with us. Lurrrvvvv the sketch btw, it somehow captures the essence of the man.
A good way of finding out more about us as individuals is reading some of the Sofa, where we relax and pour out our joys and woes, but en masse - well, we are friendly, welcoming, intelligent and interested, we span many countries and continents, most of us have a slightly mad streak and we're creative in all sorts of different ways. We have an amazing age range and, for some reason, a heck of a lot of people whose names start with 'S'!

If you have problems on the boards everyone can help, but Rebecca (begolden) and I, Steph (ThyneAlone; languages teacher and teddy bear maker, 2 sons 20 & 16, near Liverpool UK) are nominally in charge, as we are the moderators; if you have trouble on the fantastic main site, speak to our stellar webmistress, Sharon ( skftex). Please explore and post, post, post - it's good to see the site moving and developing. TJ gets involved in it and is to be found from time to time in the chat box to your right. Hope to see you round!

Thank you very much!! Spending hours staring into those baby blues was just gruelling work, really :P
I'll have to check this forum out more because you're very accomodating, though my name doesn't begin with S. I suppose you can add me into the UK branch as I live and work in Norfolk, UK and have done all my life, right on the coast. I'm a bit of a fixer girl, I study English Literature at University and am a self employed caterer, Editor for articles, gardener, artist, writer... basically anything that I can create, I do! haha weird profession but my profiteroles are legendary.
I'm so excited about this, particularly that there's a chance of TJ popping up... like some sort of man-present in my inbox :) Have a nice day and thank you for making me feel welcome.

Sharon: serioulsy, don't worry about it :) haha it's kinda cool, I was named after a science fiction character. Always hated it... maybe I should change it!
Steph: awww! you can have some! I made them with coffee cream and chocolate ganache for a wedding but one or two won't matter in going missing :) and any TJ work is certainly getting posted in the future!
