Thanks. Once I pushed aside the "average" reviews in my mind, I began remembering the "above average" and "excellent" ones. They definitely outweigh the "average" and I'm pretty sure that's why my boss, Eric, is keeping me on as a volunteer. He can't hire me because there are no funds. That's okay. I love the work and who I work with. It would have been a really sad day if I was dismissed.

Good! I'm glad you looked more toward the positve reviews rather than the negative :]

I'm a server right now, and it just stinks haha..But, it's money, so I'll stick with it for now!

Thanks. Today I started turning one of the bad reviews around. One of my co-workers are helping me. Perhaps by graduation I'll have that weakness transformed into a strength.

I'm enrolled in a Circuit Fitness class for the fall semester, so hopefully that'll ease the stress and anxiety that my other classes and work will produce.

Okay folks, now promise me you'll behave. I am away on an anniversary trip to Cornwall for 5 days and won't be able to look in till next Wednesday.

Don't leave the place in a mess. The dishes are the self-cleaning kind, being virtual, but lay off the food fights. Do not stay up all night just because I'm not here, and do not have a great big party with accompanying debauchery. Don't forget to water the garden or to cook proper meals. And I'll see you shortly. Hugs to all.

Sharon, if there's an emergency, email and I'll get the kids to pass on messages. ;)

Be good! I'll miss you!

Hi everyone!!

About 48 hours until I leave for Florida and I'm fully packed!! No, not excited at all  Just need to pick up the rental car tomorrow and fill the coolers. I have decided that I am going to unplug completely and not take my passwords so I stay off the internet. We'll see how that goes. :? My grandparents do not even have a computer in the house, so the last few days I won't have a choice. Not sure how Twitter, FB, and the chat box will carry on without my brilliant insights... :D

Most excited about my mom's house. We usually go to the beach, eat, drink, and laugh a lot which is exactly what I'm needing.

Slow day so burned some CD's and refilled the iPOD. Beach ready! :happy-sunny:

Hope everyone has a great week! Have fun on your trip Steph! :greetings-waveyellow:

Hi everyone. Just dropping in before I go away to London Ontario to get my last fitting done for my Bridesmaid dress (I'm thinking of it like a mini vacation).

I Hope everyone (Steph and Ang Really :P) Have fun on their trips. Happy Anniversary Steph. I promise we'll be good and behave ;).

Ang - I don't know how you do it. I would die without being connected to the electronic parts of my life :P Good luck though, its probably going to be wonderful :D along with peaceful.

Wow, Steph, Ang and Rain, you guys stay safe and have fun! Wish I was going somewhere.

Yay, Kelly and Sinkwriter ... Hee hee .. glad to know there are other Chuckettes here. I love him sooo much. :romance-inlove: To me, it's like, the perfect show. Heehee ... I'm channeling my inner geek. :banana-linedance: But Kelly, if you haven't seen the first two years, you HAVE to go back and watch from the start. Actually, I liked both those seasons way better than 3, even though I liked 3 too. Haha, 3- too. I would love to talk to you about the show on Facebook, but I am one of the few people left on the planet not on FB. Mostly because if I were, I would never get off line, lol. But if you have any questions or ever want to talk about an episode, you can always post about it in here or pm me.

And as for Casey, I love the way he growls. So cute. And the bonsai trees, and his reverence for president Reagan. Such a cute character. All hard shell on the outside, with a squishy carmel center.

Hi Boo. Yeah, I love Casey's growl too. I can imagine Adam doing it, especially in a romantic setting... I better stop before I get all daydreaming. :naughty: Far as watching the first two seasons, I checked out Netflix. I'd have to add them to my queue. I want to watch all of TJ's movies first. I'll watch them eventually. No worries on not having Facebook. I like this pm idea. It's new to me. I've already tried it once and it's cool. It's mostly like regular e-mail.

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been on so much lately.
With work and my grandmother's cancer (yep, third grandmother in 3 years), I haven't been able to sit down.
I know, I on;y work 3 hours a day, but then I don't want to get on the computer when I get home.
I want to sleep. Haha.

And about my grandmother. Here's a quick rundown.
She's had breast cancer for several years. This year it decided to take its toll on her, and she's been going to double chemo treatments.
Well, she'd been feeling really sick, but the doctors told her that it was just her chemo.
Well my Grandfather got really angry and made them see her.
Turns out, her chemo had caused a grapefruit sized mass in her abdomen.
The mass was absorbing and releasing the chemo poisons into her body and killing her.
They removed it, and now she's missing a large part of several of her organs.
She was going to go home for hospice, but the doctors convinced her to stay in the hospital.

Here comes the worse part.
I'm so afraid to go see her. This whole ordeal happened about a week ago. I have yet to go see her, and I know I should.
But.... I'm so fed up with everyone around me dying, quite frankly.
And I can't handle it. You all know I'm the strong one in my family. But lately, I've just been so tired. So emotionally spent. And I don't want to be strong anymore.
I want to break down and throw a fit and cry and hit something and be a TEENAGER.

:? End rant.

I'll go through and read up to my last post, and reply accordingly.
I just wanted to explain my absence.
More to come tomorrow after work and babysitting.

Hugs to all.

I'm so sorry, Kayleigh. :( You have every right to want to throw a fit & scream. That's got to be so frustrating & draining. You know we're here if you want to talk. I've two ears to listen with, two shoulders to lean on, & there's a limitless quantity of kleenex on the coffee table, so fire away. I also went ahead & installed a punching bag over in the corner, so if you (or anyone else) need to vent a little frustration, it's there. For now, I'm just sending you big hugs & support.

Well, I'm always the last to know about these things because I pay no attention whatsoever to celebrity culture, but today I was reading a London newspaper and there was a report that DB was being sued for sexual harassment by a woman who was an extra on one of the shows. The charges are pretty serious and rather perverse. I certainly hope none of it is true and he'll be exonerated. But even if that IS the case, it's got to be embarrassing and stressful for him and his family. I didn't really even know about his marital status or that he has two kids. Very unfortunate. Can't imagine what his accuser hopes to gain from all this if she is lying. On the other hand, if she is telling the truth .. well, I don't even want to think about that right now!

Been doing a bit of reading and noticed there were a couple of men posting here before I got here. I haven't noticed them posting any more. That's too bad, it would be nice to hear what some guys say about the show.

Ok so I don't really talk a lot on here or about myself as I'm not to good at it but I thought I'd give it ago.

Today I skipped work :naughty: :shhh: To go to an open day and The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Where I'm interested in doing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, TV and new Media. I guess starting this course ( our beginning of the year is Late January) would depend on me and how good I am at sorting myself out. I'm only at the beginning stages of this but I have hope and I really want to do this which I guess is the first step to getting things done. So my fingers and toes are crossed that I can achieve this.

Ali :)

I can't remember who they said this quote is from but I really like it.
