Oh!! Didn't even think of Shania Twain! Maybe because TJ set the bar so high for that one we can't get close to singing it like HE did so why try??? :P

Steph, your birthday and weekend sounds like it was really special. All the presents sound great, and the party sounds spectacular!

Sharon, I was thinking that none of us chose that song because TJ's the one who should sing it for us. Heh heh hehhhh. Join in on the fun, TJ! We know you know the words. ;)

Steph, your party sounded wonderful. Big kudos to your husband for organizing it all without you knowing! And I'm so glad you got to see all your friends and family and long-time-no-see loved ones altogether. Sounds like you had a great time! I'm so glad. You deserve it, you really do! Happy Birthday, once again. :D

I'm only sorry I didn't get to participate here at a timeframe when most of you were online together! Still, Sharon and I whooped it up for the United States contingent for a little while, late last night, didn't we, Sharon? *laughing hard*

Yes we did Sherry! It was fun, so next year we need to do it all again!! New songs of course, maybe I'll learn who MUSE and that other group are by then-oh Portishead! HA HA HA HA

And I ALMOST made it to midnight so almost the end of TJ's birthday at least in my time zone. And you did make it to the end of it in your timezone didn't you Sherry-since you are an hour ahead of me! We all did a good job of having his birthday covered! :)

Oh yes, Sharon, it was well after midnight in my time zone. In fact, with Daylight Saving Time, I had to add another hour, which meant it was after 1 am instead.

I hate losing an hour! Is it aliens, Mulder? :sci-fi-beamup:

;)

Sincerely, I hope everyone had a great time. :D

Sorry I missed the festivities... I was installing all new HD and DVR for the TV, faster Internet, and a new digital phone service. The guy was supposed to come between 8-10. Of course, he shows up at 10:00. From there, it took pretty much the whole day for him to get things hooked up. I live in an old apartment and the phone wiring was all screwed up. But now that everything is installed and working, I love it!

Right, I am going to shut the room up now till we need it for another party. It's clean, swept, polished and shining and aired; and looks oddly empty without loads of people throwing party poppers.

It's got a good acoustic though.

Nearly as good as singing in the shower!

Oh I can't resist the echo, let's do it! *jigs around*

Sherry, Sherry baby
Sherry, Sherry baby

Sheeeeeerryy baaby (Sherry baby)
Sheeerry can you come out tonight
(Come,come, come out tonight)
Sheeeeeerryy baaby (Sherry baby)
Sheeerry can you come out tonight

(Why don't you come out) To my twist party
(Come out) Where the bright moon shines
(Come out) We'll dance the night away
I'm gonna make-a you miiiine

Sheeeeeerryy baaby (Sherry baby)
Sheeerry can you come out tonight
(Come, come, come out tonight)

Yooou better ask your Maama (Sherry baby)
Teell her everything is all right

(Why don't you come out) With your red dress on
(Come out) Mmm you look so fine
(Comeout) Move it nice and easy
Girl, you make me lose my miind

Sheeeeeerryy, baaby (Sherry baby)
Sheeerry can you come out tonight
(Come, come, come out tonight)

Sheerry, Sheerry baby, Sheerry, Sheerry baby...
